Today is my dear friend Bethany’s birthday. Bethany and I met many years ago and although life and distance has us communicating much less often than I’d like, I always appreciate her tweets because they are full of poetry.
I love poetry so much. it is so evocative and wonderful and part of the reason I love singing so much is getting to engage with poetry. Poetry is most often read, but I really like reciting poetry. So what better way to celebrate Bethany’s birthday than start this side project I’ve been thinking about for a while. I’ve started with a few of my favourites. Let me know what you think!
